Please note: Your credit card will be charged the deposit amount due, as stated above, within 48 hours of booking your reservation. This payment will apply to all selected items in your reservation (i.e. Conference Attendance, City Tour Package, Round-trip Airport Transfers, Spouse/Guest Conference Dinner).
Program Fee
The conference fee of $1,600 ($800 for students, medical residents, or members of the clergy/religious) includes lecture notes, a welcome reception on Sunday, March 7, 2010, lunches, dinners, and refreshments during the conference. A deposit equal to half the registration fee is due with your reservation application. Full payment is required 90 days prior to the first day of the conference (Saturday, December 12, 2009). There will be a $200 fee for spouses/guests attending evening conference dinners on March 12-13, 2010.
Registration Deadline The registration deadline is December 12, 2009. Any reservations received after this date are subject to availability and must be accompanied by payment in full. It is unlikely that late reservations will receive discounted hotel rates.
Location This program will be held at the Pontifical University of Santa Croce. Lunches and dinners on Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13 will be held at local Roman restaurants.
CME Credits
AMA PRA Category 1 Credit will be provided for this conference.
In addition, we will host a 1-hr lecture in medical ethics on each day of the week preceding the conference (March 8-11). CME credits will be available for these lectures.

Hotel Packages
3-Star Hotel Package at Hotel della Torre Argentina, inclusive of round-trip airport transfers and daily breakfast: Located in an 18th century aristocratic palace, the Torre Argentina is located in the heart of ancient Rome, near Piazza Navona. All rooms have a private bathroom, satellite TV, high-speed Internet access and air-conditioning.
4-Star Hotel Package at Hotel Tiziano, inclusive of airport transfers and daily breakfast: The Hotel Tiziano, recently refurnished and boasting modern functional facilities, is located in the former home of a noble family. The 18th century Pacelli Palace is right in the heart of historical Rome. All rooms have central heat and air conditioning, full bath, telephone and satellite TV.
Please note: A 50% deposit for hotel packages are due by Friday, September, 11, 2009. After September 11, 2009 packages are subject to hotel availability.
Monastery Stay at Colegio Don Minozzi, inclusive of daily breakfast: The Colegio don Minozzi, an ancient monastery run by the Padres Giovanni Minozzi, is conveniently located down the street from the Pontifical University of Santa Croce. Rooms are simple yet clean, with en suite bathrooms and heating. Towels are not provided and there is a nightly curfew of 11 p.m. Reservations at Colegio don Minozzi must be made on your own by calling 0039 06 6864561 or e-mailing prenotazioni@operadonminozzi.it.
City Tour
This optional package, priced at $365 per person, includes transfers, tour guides, gratuities and tour entry fees for two pre-selected tours.
Scavi Tour The Vatican Excavations Office offers private tours of the excavations below St. Peter’s Basilica, where St. Peter’s tomb is found. Only 200 visitors are allowed to visit the necropolis daily in groups of approximately 12 persons. Due to high demand, reservations must be made far in advance by the Excavations Office. Reservations are on a first-come, first served basis and are subject to availability.
Due to the overwhelming interest in the Scavi Tour, the Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture and the Alumni Association has exhausted their complimentary ticket allotment. Requests for the Scavi Tour can still be made, although there will now be a nominal fee of $20.00 per person to cover ticket costs, set by the Vatican's Excavations Office.

Pre- or Post-Extension Tours Add-on packages are available should you wish to supplement your Roman vacation with a stay in Florence and/or Venice. These packages include round-trip train travel from Rome to Florence or Venice, airport transfers, two nights accommodation in a centrally-located 3-star hotel, and a local professional English-speaking guide for a guided walking tour. Cancellation
Upon receipt of written request of cancellation, the following fees will apply: Cancellations received by December 12, 2009: amount of deposit; between December 12, 2009 and January 15, 2010: 50% of entire cost of the trip; after January 15, 2010: Non-refundable.
Passports
If you have not already applied for your passport or other travel documents, please do so immediately to ensure ample time for processing. Every participant must be in possession of the appropriate documentation prior to departure. Regrettably, if a participant is unable to obtain a passport or any applicable visa, the standard cancellation policy will apply.
Canadians and other non-U.S. citizens should contact the embassy or consulate of their destination countries as soon as possible for specific entry requirements.
Please note: Non-U.S. citizens may require re-entry documentation to enter the United States after travel abroad.

Travel Insurance
Anthony Travel recommends travel insurance for all of our travelers. In the event that a situation arises that prohibits travel, travel insurance may offer protection that covers costs, insures travel and assists while you are abroad.
