UCF to Save On Travel Services

ORLANDO, Fla. – Athletic Departments across the nation are searching for ways to be more efficient, save money and create additional revenue.  The University of Central Florida has announced it will partner with collegiate and sports travel experts, Anthony Travel, Inc. (ATI) , in order to do just that.

ATI will serve as the daily provider of athletic travel services for all 16 Golden Knight sports teams, including air, hotel, ground transportation and hospitality needs for teams, coaches, administrators and staff.  A new office, located on the UCF campus, will exclusively service the athletic department, and will provide personal assistance and experience to further assist the UCF staff.

“This is an exciting time at UCF,” said UCF Director of Athletics and Executive Vice President, Keith R. Tribble. “Our department continues to grow and succeed; we believe Anthony Travel’s experience will help us do even more for our student-athletes, coaches and Golden Knight fans.”

Anthony Travel has a successful history of providing creative travel solutions and expertise that save both time and money for athletic departments and sports teams across the nation.  UCF is the 14th institution to designate Anthony Travel as a year-round travel partner, and the third Division I program to name the agency their primary partner in three months.  A full-service travel management company, ATI provides travel services to many of the nations most prestigious universities and sporting events.

“The University of Central Florida has obviously committed to developing an outstanding athletic program at the Division I level,” said President and CEO, John Anthony.  “Their success speaks volumes about their dedication to creating an exemplary program both on the field and off.  Our commitment to provide outstanding service and savings for our clients makes us a good match for the Golden Knights, and we are anxious to begin working with their teams.”
