DALLAS — Anthony Travel (ATI), university and sports travel experts, continues to add awards to their trophy case. ATI has again been named to the Dallas 100™ by SMU’s Cox School of Business Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship. After several years of strong growth in the collegiate sports and event travel marketplace, Anthony Travel placed 75th on the list of the top 100 fastest growing, privately held companies in the North Texas area. The company was previously named to the list in 1993, 1996, 1997, 2005 and 2006.

The award, presented annually by SMU’s Cox School of Business Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship, recognizes the 100 fastest growing privately held businesses in the North Texas area. To qualify for the Dallas 100™, a company must meet a number of criteria based on its legal status, location, sales history, credit report and character

Anthony Travel President and CEO, John Anthony, credits his team for the company’s success. “Our associates make servicing our customers a priority each day. In doing so, we are able to find innovative new ways to meet the needs of our clients,” said John Anthony, President and CEO. “It is this innovation and dedication that have allowed us to grow and to achieve this and so many wonderful honors throughout our history.”

No stranger to Awards, Anthony Travel was also named North America’s Travel Agency of the Year at the World Travel Awards in August. Candidates for nomination are based upon the previous year’s voting, with votes cast by travel industry professionals in more 190 countries around the world. In the tourism trade, being nominated and winning a World Travel Award means a personal and reliable endorsement from thousands of travel professionals around the world.

Servicing many of America’s leading universities ATI has emerged at the head of the industry, adding five new Division-I clients, USCUCLAUCFUNLV and Cal in the past six months.
