LSU Athletics Partners with Anthony Travel for On-Site Team Travel

Deal marks Anthony Travel’s 100th school partnership

Louisiana State University (LSU) Athletics has appointed Anthony Travel, the nationally recognized leader in university and sports travel, to provide team travel management services. Anthony Travel, which is part of global premium hospitality, travel and experiences provider On Location, will service all individual and team travel needs (air, hotel, and ground) across LSU’s entire athletic department.

Anthony Travel’s Preferred Hotel Program & Motor Coach Connection provides LSU’s teams with negotiated rates and benefits, with on-site account managers streamlining commercial air, charter air, hotel, and motor coach travel management planning. In-house after-hours support will also be provided to assist teams when navigating travel disruptions and itinerary changes. Anthony Travel’s extensive work across collegiate athletics provides data analytics and reporting metrics for cost benchmarking to monitor budgets and leverage savings.

“As we proudly welcome LSU into the Anthony Travel family, it’s not just an honor—it’s a milestone” said Anthony Travel Founder, John Anthony.  “LSU is the perfect school to welcome as our 100th partner for athletics travel management.  With so many friends throughout LSU Athletics who we served at prior stops in their career, this bell-ringing moment is a tribute to every coach, administrator, and student-athlete we serve every day across the globe.  We look forward to tackling the challenges of travel and leveraging our expertise across the SEC to deliver savings, benefits, and a winning playbook for all LSU Athletics travelers.”

“We are excited to partner with Anthony Travel to streamline the travel needs of our entire department,” said Director of Athletics Scott Woodward. “We take pride in providing our student-athletes with world-class experiences during their time at LSU, and through this partnership with Anthony Travel, we know that is exactly what they will receive as they compete at the highest levels of collegiate athletics.”

The new Anthony Travel partnership bolsters On Location’s existing relationship with LSU Athletics, which uses the company’s Qcue dynamic ticket pricing software and strategies. On Location also works with the Tiger Athletic Foundation, which provides private financial support for programs and facilities that benefit LSU student-athletes, on premium donor travel experiences.
